Waking Windows Festival
This past weekend I performed for the Waking Windows Festival in Burlington, VT (it was actually Winooski, VT but they are basically Burlington) and oh was it a good time! The show I was on was titled "No Chill" and was located at the Asian Bistro.
When we first arrived at the show it was similar to many other Asian Restaurants I've played in. Meaning the staff didn't seem to know there was a show going to happen and they didn't know how to react to the comment "oh we don't need a table, we are on the show so just waiting for that."
Luckily the stage showed up shortly after and things were in motion. The crowd filled up and they were all attentive to what turned out to be a top notch show!

This shot came from the video I took of my set that night. The staff was nice enough to allow me to place my camera on one of there sushi boats. Very nautical!
Funny thing about this showcase was I used the same set at another show and it did not go well... But this time around it passed with laughter at all the right beats. Comedy is a mysterious beast!
